Find Download and Listen to Podcasts

ow to manage podcasts and audio sources with Google Listen on Android.

Google Listen is a free app that helps keep podcasts and audio sources well-organised and ready for listening. Users can find thousands of podcasts via the search facility and take a closer look at what's on offer before deciding on the next step. Listen boasts a host of features which are applied to individual podcasts. Users can start streaming with a tap of the 'Listen now' button. The alternative is to queue for listening/downloading at a later date, while selecting 'More episodes' will give users more podcasts to choose from.

Streaming is one option for listening, but podcasts can also be downloaded and stored. By default, Android allows for 20 episodes to be stored on a device. This can be changed to save space, eg only allow ten episodes, or you could choose to store up to a maximum of 80 episodes. The default download setting is 'Only on Wi-Fi', ensuring that data plans are kept intact while enjoying the delights of a favourite podcast.
