UCL Final, Borussia Dortmund vs Bayern Munich Preview, Possible Lineups and Prediction

UCL Final, Borussia Dortmund vs Bayern Munich Preview, Possible Lineups and Prediction

Bayern Munich have entered yet another Champions League final after beating Spanish giants FC Barcelona by 7-0 on aggregate. Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund are in conquest of winning their first Champions Leaguetitle in 16 years after beating Real Madrid by 4-3 on aggregate in semifinals of the tournament.
Bayern Munich have been in search of this holy grail for some years now. Their previous Champions Leaguefailures are notably 2-0 loss to Mourinho’s Inter at Santiago Bernabeu in 2010 Champions League final and losing out to Chelsea in penalties last season. They are in search of eliminating this curse of Champions League final in recent seasons by beating their domestic rivals, Borussia Dortmund.
On the other hand, Jurgen Klopp has yet another platform to prove himself as one of the best manager inworld football currently, by guiding his team to European success.
Jupp Heynckes knows the pain of losing at Champions League final after last season’s disappointing result and he has ordered his players to give everything they can in the final to bring the holy grail to the Allianz Arena.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have had a fairytale journey in the road to Wembley. They surprisingly beat Malaga in quarterfinals despite trailing by 2 goals in final stages of game by scoring two at the stoppage time, which was nothing more than a fairytale. Almost more than half of the footballing world doubted them to beat Real Madrid in semifinals which was again overturned by their emphatic performance in Signal-Iduna-Park. Also, to remind, they not only passed through the group of death which included teams like Real Madrid, Manchester City and Ajax but also topped the group which shows how efficient their squad has been this season.
Jupp Heycknes’ side haven’t had a difficult conquest this season in Europe and else where too. They beat the Italian giants by 4-0 in quarterfinals and their win against Spanish giants, Barcelona in semi-finals was even more emphatic as they won 7-0 on aggregate. However, they lost to 3-1 against mediocre side BATE in group stages and lost surprisingly against Arsenal in round of 16.

Prediction:
This is probably the most difficult game I’ve ever had to predict this season. But I expect Bayern Munich to continue their domination in Europe to finally clinch European title. I believe that the scoreline could well be 2-1 in favour of the Bavarians.
