An Epic Comeback by Portuguese!

Fabio Coentrao saves the day for Portugal after scoring a equalizer against Israel in 93^rd minute.

Portugal secured a dramatic 3-3 draw with Israel in Tel Aviv, to ensure the two sides remain neck and neck in their quest for World Cup 2014 qualification.


 

Bruno Alves headed Paulo Bento's side in front after two minutes, but Israelis did’nt stop and score a great comeback after T. Hemad  scored a great goal at 24^th minutes which was assisted by Shpungin. Before the end of the half Israelis scored another goal with the help of Ben Basat at 40^th minute and lead the match with 2-1.

When the second half started both the teams have many good chances but at 70^thminute Israel got 2 goals lead which was given by R. Gershon. Just after Gershon’s goal Portugal Postiga scored in the 72^nd minute and made the score 3-2 but this was not enough. Portugal try hard to get a equalizer and finally they got it when Coentrao scored a stunner in 93^rd minute and equalizes the match by 3-3
